Celebrity Headshots

Hi guys, this week's blog is a 2-pages of small sketches of random celebrity headshots. It's a good late night exercise I'd say, when you're in a mood to sketch but you're indoors, just go on Google search and sketch random subjects.
The way I did is without any preliminary sketches, just straight on ink, this way it'd save your time erasing things or being unsure about your sketches, because the purpose of sketching is not to be perfect, is to be loose, free-handed and preserve each brush stroke you put on that paper. That's also why I like to use ink, it's permanent and straightforward, its unforgiving nature doesn't allow you to erase mistakes or unwanted marks, but that's exactly my philosophy in life, I don't need to forget the mistakes or ugly things, instead I remember them, and perhaps make it better next time.
I hope you enjoy this week's post as usual. I always enjoy your feedback.

Each tiny portrait is around 2" x 3" and took me around 5-6 minutes to finish, so to fill up a page would take around an hour. It's a perfect daily sketching exercise.

Well, to be honest, not each of them is celebrity, some of them are just the faces I like.

How many celebrities do you recognize? Let me know! And I wish you a good Labor Day weekend!
